Mrs Kember – Deputy Nursery Manager and EYs SENCO

Mrs Cox – Nursery Practitioner

Miss Douglas – Nursery Practitioner

Session Times:

We are a term time nursery and are therefore closed during the school holidays.

We offer the 15 and 30 hours government funding and take ‘rising three’ children.  Children are entitled to the government funding hours in the term after they turn 3 or parents have the option of taking a rising three place and paying for their session (until they are entitled to the government funding) or applying for the ‘Free for 2’ funding online.

Our sessions run Monday – Friday. 9am – 12pm / 12pm – 3pm or 9am – 3pm.

Snack is provided to the children.  This includes fruit, breadsticks/crackers/toast/yoghurts, etc and a choice of milk or water.  Children who attend all day or in the afternoons will need to bring a packed lunch with them to have at 12 pm.

Keeping under fives safe online (ChildNet)

Ofcom research in 2016 showed that almost 40% of 3-4-year-olds and two-thirds of 5-7-year-olds go online. We know that children need support in these environments, to get the best out of using the internet, and there are real advantages in making sure that children are supported in their internet use right from the start. ChildNet has prepared a guide for the parents of under-7s to help them think about the issues involved.
